Hi and welcome to the home of M1 Customs! My name is Mel and I am one of many talented action figure customizers out there. I started the hobby back in the summer of 2006 and I have been going ever since. My customs have been shipped world wide whether they have been commissioned or sold on eBay. We all know what customizing means but, let me explain what I do!

I take an existing product and I change it so that it is something different. What do I do to make this happen? Well I use parts of other figures to create another figure, whether it's a head, arms, legs or body. this process is called kit bashing. I also use a product called "Apoxie Sculpt", this is a sculpting material that can be sculpted and becomes rock hard when it cures. Finally I use high quality acrylic paints to finish the custom action figure off to complete it's transformation and of course the custom is sealed with a dullcote spray!

I'm a customizer that gives everyone a chance to add that missing link to their collection! I have never been showcased in any magazines or have been approached by any company to do a piece for them. My customs sell themselves. Even though I do post them on forums besides my website, 90% of my customers are people who contact me from eBay auctions and not the forums I post on!

What sets me apart from some other customizers out there is, "I will never tell someone that they can not afford a custom of mine!". Meaning, I will quote a fair price depending on the difficulty and time needed to complete the custom. I just don't set one price and let the dice fly! My commission pieces sells for what I think they are worth!

 Also it has been rumored that some customizers on eBay have been accused of shill bidding on their own customs to drive the prices up making people pay more than what they are actually worth. "I will never shill bid or have someone bid on any of my auctions to drive the price up! If I think a piece is not going for what I think it should go for, I will end the auction and the piece will stay in my private collection or be re-listed at a later date. I have sold over 250 customs with only two complaints that were attended to in a timely matter to correct the problem!
